Chair Massage

Chair massage, is a type of massage therapy that is performed while the client is seated in a specially designed chair. This chair is portable, ergonomic, and adjustable to provide support and comfort for the client. Chair massage is a brief, focused form of massage that is typically administered in a public or workplace setting. Here are some key points about chair massage:

  1. Accessibility:  Chair massage is accessible to clients who may not have the time for a full-length massage or prefer to remain fully clothed during the session. This makes it a convenient option for people on the go or in public spaces.
  1. Focus Areas: The massage therapist primarily targets the upper body, particularly the neck, shoulders, upper back, and arms. These areas are common sites of tension and discomfort for many individuals.
  1. Short Duration:  Chair massage sessions are typically shorter than full-body massages, often ranging from 10 to 30 minutes. They are designed to provide quick relief from muscle tension and stress.
  1. Portable Chair: The massage therapist uses a portable massage chair that allows the client to sit with their face resting in a face cradle, with the arms and chest supported. This ergonomic design allows the therapist to access the back and neck effectively.

Thanks to this training, I’m able to provide hour-long chair massage sessions.
